Tears rolled down his eyes,
He cried out in pain.
Brutally beaten to stupor.
Scars on his body,
Cut-skin and bruises.
The on-lookers watched,
as the mob carried out their insane act;
to burn a fellow human,
A distressed minor!!!
His last breath was terrifying.
Like a lion;
He roared as if he had lose his mane.
He probably cursed the land,
regretting being a Nigerian.
He gave up the ghost,
but his soul still bleeds,
yearning for justice.
How inhuman are we?
To kill another human,
for no just reason.
The world is evil.
We're lost in darkness.
The perpetrators turned Saints overnight,
to cast a stone?
Their hearts are darker than a yawning grave.
Barbaric!! Uncouth and uncivilized.
Conscience sold for a meagre amount of "stolen garri",
bold enough to kill?
Our politicians have stolen almost everything.
We've done absolutely nothing.
Yet, we wallow in stupidity,
Trade our sanity,
trend Insanity,
and betray humanity.
Our society is dead!!
I weep for Nigeria.
