MY SUNSHINE
The fact that the sun rises in the east,
made me ascertain she was the exact opposite of a beast.
My hands reached out to her,
and my world was built around her.
Such a beauty to behold.
I was never told,
that true love is worth more than gold.
Yea! I was perfectly right,
and today my life is extra bright.
She brought sunshine after the stormy days,
and blessed my world with her distinguished rays.
Even when I looked teary,
and my days were dreary.
She was never weary.
She dried my tears with her bare hands
and made my faith gallantly stand.
She changed my entire plan,
It made me a better man.
She's everything that defines 'fine'
So I call her "my sunshine".
